Senior O365 Engineer- DV Cleared

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, support and enhance the O365 technologies used by the client to get the best service possible
• Working internally with the ICT Service Delivery team to build modern, scalable, secure IT systems
• Monitoring, administering and managing Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online/On-Prem, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
• Managing, maintaining, researching, recommending and implementing configuration and best practices for: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other related products.
• Ensuring service availability, performance and security of the Microsoft 365 services
• Investigating and resolving faults in services
• Documenting configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Mentoring and leading less experienced members of the team to develop skills across the team
• Advocate and promote the internal toolset and make sure that we are using them to their full potential
• Liaise with users, architects, and business areas to understand and develop ideas on how the M365 suite can help efficiency.
• Optimising licensing and subscription costs

Skills Required

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange, OneDrive for Business, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Admin Centre and Azure Services
• Knowledge of Exchange Online, on-premises Exchange and hybrid Exchange environments
• Knowledge of enterprise mobility & security - Intune MDM & MAM, Entra ID, Identity, Information Protection, Threat Protection, Cloud App Security
• Microsoft Teams implementation, governance, administration
• Microsoft Teams voice and video services
• Active Directory/Entra ID management
• Knowledge of Microsoft licencing and experience of managing Microsoft licencing and Azure subscriptions
• 365/Azure service health monitoring
• Experience of using PowerShell
• Strong experience leading implementation projects of Microsoft 365 workloads and new features
• Experience in creating Power Automate flows to automate repetitive tasks
• Strong ability to produce and maintain technical documentation
• Proven technical experience of large enterprise environments managing multiple technology services
• Certifications in Microsoft 365 (eg, MS-102) is desirable.
