What You'll Do:

  • Network Management: Maintain and optimise wired and wireless networking technologies, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge in subnetting, routing (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), and Cisco switching (Catalyst and Nexus platforms) to tackle complex challenges.
  • Cybersecurity Focus: Implement network authentication technologies (Cisco ISE, RADIUS, TACACS+) and adhere to cybersecurity best practises to protect our infrastructure.
  • Project Support: Assist in the configuration and installation of new infrastructure, helping to deliver exciting new projects while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Communication & Mentoring: Share your expertise by providing technical guidance to junior staff and ensuring effective communication across IT and non-IT teams.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in an enterprise networking environment (3+ years in a senior role).
  • Proficient in wired and wireless networking technologies, Cisco management products, DHCP, DNS, and Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex network issues.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) are essential; CCNP or CCIE is desirable.
