Senior network and security engineer

Your role in our team

As our Senior Network and Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing network-related projects and managing our IT infrastructure. Your key tasks will include:

• Maintaining our IT infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, offices, DC, VPN, DNS, FW)
• Managing support tickets and providing second and third-line support
• Ensuring adherence to infrastructure standards and governance principles
• Proposing and implementing improvements for network and security
• Validating infrastructure and network deliverables in projects
• Coordinating with on/offshore third parties for complex issues
• Designing and deploying solutions to meet business requirements
• Contributing to RFI/RFP writing and documentation creation

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in network and network security
• Expertise in MPLS technology, LAN/MAN/WAN technologies, and routing protocols
• Experience with firewalls, proxies, NAC, DNS, and load balancing
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) and SDWAN/SASE
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with various monitoring tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Fluency in English, good knowledge of French, and Dutch as an asset
