Job Description

Synechron is looking for an experienced Back Office Murex SME Analyst to join an established international FS business. Working with a team of developers the role requires both overseeing projects as well as hands on delivery.

Job requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of and experience working in an international Financial Markets organisation

  • Expert knowledge of the Murex platform specifically focusing in the areas of Operations (post-trade workflow)

  • MxMLExchange (workflows, tasks, Amendment agent, space definitions, interfaces, trade repository)

  • XML/XLS development skills (Message transformation and generation: swift, documents, advices, notifications etc)

  • Trade life cycle (booking and market operations)

  • Contract matching logic

  • Pretrade workflow (pricing and booking sequences)

  • Cash settlements (release cycle, netting, fixing, split etc)

  • SSI management and maintenance (nostro, Vostro, SSI assignment logic)

  • Confirmation instruction setup and assignment (filters setup with Murex Data query language)

  • User definable fields setup

  • Official P&L generation and simulation views knowledge

  • Unix knowledge to investigate logs
