Contract Senior Mechanical Services Engineer
up to £60 per hour under umbrella
Devonport - Hybrid (2-3 days in a month)
12 months initially (highly likely to extend)

A pioneering engineering firm based in Devonport is urgently looking for a Senior Mechanical Service Engineer. They're working at the forefront of Decommissioning redundant nuclear facilities to support the sea operation and building of nuclear power plants.

The role will involve working in dockyard piping systems for the nuclear industry. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, document management, and compliance with Agility and OCE standards. You will be coordinating design delivery focusing on pumping and low-pressure air systems.

Skills Required

• Extensive experience in dockyard piping system design, particularly skilled in the FP03 system.
• Well-versed in using CDMS Vault for document management.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating design delivery on dockyard sites.
• Expert in pumping system design, with a background in both maritime and network systems.
• Additionally experienced in designing low-pressure air systems.
