Senior Manager - Business & Human Rights

We advise our clients to identify, understand and address their human rights in the context of the OECD Guidelines, UNGPs, current and upcoming regulation on value chain due diligence, and help them improve their overall social impact.

You will be working on a range of innovative services relating to social impact, human rights in business, ethical sourcing, sustainable supply chain management, social assessments, and stakeholder engagement. Together with colleagues from different countries and departments of KPMG you work towards building market relations and serving customers. Together with ESG reporting and assurance specialists you will help clients navigate complexities related to ESRS S1-4 with a focus on the identification and management of relevant risk and opportunities, as well as the policies and action plans to improve the social performance of our clients.

Jouw uitdagingen- Win and manage projects in the domain of Human Rights and HR&E due diligence; contribute to projects as subject matter expert (e.g. Minimum Social Safeguards in the context of EU - taxonomy, DE&I, ESRS S1-4, social impact of renewable energy projects or the use of critical raw materials)
- Work directly with clients
- Educate and coach KPMG colleagues that work in your field of expertise and help others to articulate the implications of human rights to their clients Connect with industry actors and stakeholders

Play a pivotal role in our market presence and thought leadership in the field of business and human rights.
- Significant knowledge of and 10+ years of experience in the field of business and human rights
- Strong preference for prior working experience in both consultancy and in-house roles (Corporate Sector or Financial Sector)
- Experience in implementing relevant tools and methodologies, such as stakeholder consultations, social research, social audits, human rights and environmental risk assessments, human rights impact assessments.
- Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting in English and Dutch
- Experience managing global projects
- Ability to think from multiple stakeholder perspectives
