Senior IT Support Engineer - Renewable Energy - Central London - Hybrid Working

Robert Half have partnered with a fast-scaling renewable energy business, employing over 150 people across 3 UK offices.

Due to continued growth an expansion coupled with their Technology first mindset they're looking to hire a Senior IT Support Technician.

You'll work closely with the IT Manager in a fast growing environment, as the business continues to scale the responsibilities of this role will increase providing plenty of opportunities to progress!

The Role

• Reporting to the IT Manager the successful candidate will deliver key IT projects for the business including MS Intune MDM, Data Classification, Sharepoint & Core Systems Migration to Microsoft Ecosystem.
• Assist the IT Manager with support to drive a reduction in requests and outstanding IT tasks.
• Assist in the setup of New Helpdesk ticketing system to drive improvement in resolution of issues.
• Help maintain all IT network/infrastructure onsite to optimize/monitor performance and resilience.
• Detect computer or network equipment shortages and place orders/provide IT cover.
• Provide 1st/2nd Line support to all users of technology in the business internally alongside MSP.
• Provide effective and efficient communication across all levels of the business.
• Set up, deploy and re-image desktops and hardware including assisting in the development of a new laptop build within AutoPilot in Office 365.
• Manage the IT inventory, assets register and update IT documentation regularly.
• Software patching/systems maintenance/database backups and ensure updates are current.

Skills & Experience Required

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar Desktop Support role
• Strong Customer Service mindset
• Office 365 Administration
• Printers/Mobile Devices - IPhone/Android
• Strong Microsoft Suite of applications support experience (Intune desirable
• Experience of working with diverse computer systems and networks.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Hybrid Working (3 days in the office) - Central London

£40,000 - £45,000 + Annual Bonus & Excellent Benefits
