Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in project management methodologies (eg, PRINCE2 Practitioner) to oversee the planning and delivery of diverse projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards while managing risks effectively. The Project manager will work closely with stakeholders to align project objectives and maintain transparent communication.

This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from medium-scale to larger initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to define scope and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain clear and consistent stakeholder communication through regular updates and reports.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, including project board sessions.
  • Ensure project documentation is up-to-date, including plans, progress reports, and change requests.
  • Implement best practices and continuously improve project management processes.

Skills and experience needed for this role:

  • Certification: PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience within IT.
  • Proven success managing projects with structured methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (eg, Microsoft Project).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferably Sweden (other Nordic countries considered)

Must be able to communicate fluently in at least one of the Scandinavian languages
