My client in the Banking Industry are looking for a Senior IT Analyst with Derivatives experience.
Description:
Working with a team of experienced business- and Technology people, new Senior IT Analyst will join a project with the purpose of implementing a strategic solution for clearing and settlement of Listed Derivatives within the company Markets & Traded Products service area.
The project aims to implement new business processes, a new vendor application, a new integration architecture towards up-stream (Front Office) and down-stream (Middle Office etc.) systems and to migrate business flows from existing Legacy application architecture.
In this project, the Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and documenting functional- and non-functional requirements and aligning these with relevant stakeholders across the value chain.
- Detailed data analysis and mapping to new target formats based on Kafka.
- Acting as a bridge between business analysts/SMEs and IT Developers with responsibility for preparing business- and data requirements for the developers
The Senior IT Analyst must have:
- Proven analytical skills and ability to understand business domain as well as IT implementation
- Excellent data analytical skills and understanding of data modelling
- Experience from financial institutions, and especially on post-trade side
- Knowledge about listed derivatives (ie exchange traded futures and options)
- Experience with Kafka and FpML
- Experience working in projects with international environments
- SQL skills (Oracle)
- A proactive and self-driven mindset
- Excellent spoken and written English
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Location role requires 50% onsite work in Helsinki and 50% can be remote, candidates must already be based in Finland
