Senior Internal Auditor - Up to £58,000 per annum + bonus - Hybrid - Cardiff

Your new role

  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
  • Assist with statutory audits whilst providing training and guidance to staff on company processes.
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
  • Plan the yearly internal control audit in line with the company policies;
  • Create monthly reports outlining the internal control's advancement and the action's conclusion schemes;
  • Create action plans and monitor for teams responsible for supporting company goals.
  • Conduct evaluations, including various tests, of the internal controls and their subsequent control points;
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees.
  • Overall supervision of planned annual audits

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, or ACA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is des
  • Experience in practice is desirable but not a necessity.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with prudential requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • What you'll get in return
