Job Title: Senior Infrastructure ArchitectContract Duration: (3 months, possible extension to 6 months)Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella)Location: London (5 days on-site)
Role Overview:
The Senior Infrastructure Architect will design and implement infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. This role involves creating architecture proposals, high and low-level designs, and working closely with various teams to gain project approval.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement infrastructure standards and best practices.

Create infrastructure designs that meet business needs and align with technology roadmaps.

Ensure third-party solutions meet requirements and strategies.

Analyse current technology to identify and recommend improvements.

Manage capacity planning and infrastructure audits.

Coach and advise technology teams on infrastructure matters.

Skills and Experience:

Strong skills in infrastructure architecture across software, infrastructure, and networks.

Experience in designing solutions for Private Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure), Digital Workplace (O365, Virtual Desktop), and Infrastructure Management.

Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, and project management tools.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Technical Development Background:
Responsible for developing, testing, and releasing technology solutions, including third-party products and bespoke software. Accountabilities include end-to-end solution delivery, rapid prototyping, and third-party supplier assurance.
