Senior Information Governance Specialist | Outside IR35 | £550 - £575 p/d | Hybrid (Leeds)

SR2 are supporting a major digital health programme in recruiting a Senior Information Governance & Data Law Consultant to guide a key transition for Digital Screening Services. This role will lead the development of a legal and IG framework to unlock safe, compliant data use and enable more personalised, citizen-focused digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a clear legal and governance direction in collaboration with senior policy and legal stakeholders.
• Guide alignment of data governance frameworks during a period of organisational transition and beyond.
• Draft and implement information governance policies that enable data use while satisfying central approval processes.
• Drive transparency and accountability initiatives to maintain public trust in data-driven services.
• Shape the legal foundations supporting long-term strategic use of data across digital screening programmes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Expert knowledge of UK data protection legislation and its practical application within public sector or healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop policies that balance regulatory compliance with operational innovation.
• Strong grasp of complex governance models within large-scale organisations.
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple departments and policy areas

They are looking for a Governance Specialist to join them for an initial contract length of 4 Months, Outside IR35, providing the opportunity to work light Hybrid offering a day rate of up to £550 - £575 per day.
