Location: Amsterdam

This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *People strategies, managing global initiatives within the region or function, and collaborating*.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our client's team. This is an individual contributor role, partnering with senior leaders at the VP, Senior Director, and Director levels, primarily based at the Amsterdam HQ. The role involves driving People strategies, managing global initiatives within the region or function, and collaborating with central People teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Experience in organizational design or transformational initiatives is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the business, ensuring colleagues benefit from consistent, value-added People-led initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on HR topics, which may include global initiatives like Reward, Diversity, or region-specific matters such as union representation, work councils, or compliance with local legislation.
  • Collaborate with COE teams to design and deliver products/tools/services that align with business strategies and the People Roadmap.
  • Guide and coach leadership teams to ensure the right talent is in the right roles performing the right work.
  • Serve as an escalation point for HR Business Partners, making decisions in line with company HR policies on behalf of the HR Director.
  • Lead organizational design and development initiatives, including structural changes, reorganizations, and M&A activities.
  • Ensure senior hires align with defined competency frameworks, holding business leaders accountable for fair, transparent, and strategic recruitment, promotions, and internal moves.
  • Partner strategically with the business to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.

Requirements

Education:

  • Master's degree required.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, with expertise in influencing, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Deep knowledge of HR processes and policies relevant to the region/function.
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale organizational change programs and people roadmaps.
  • Comprehensive understanding of talent life cycles and resourcing plans.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with multiple business areas to drive impactful decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and own large change programs.
  • Strategic mindset with a commercial focus.
  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in P&L, budgeting, and financial planning.

Experience:

  • Extensive professional HR experience (8-12 years), with a track record of success in similar roles.
