Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Development Chemist, based in Leamington Spa, on a full time permanent basis. This role will provide quality control support to the manufacturing process, using analytical techniques.

The site is based in Leamington Spa and is commutable from Northampton, Lutterworth, Rushden, Rugby, Coventry and Birmingham.

Your duties and responsibilities will involve:
- Be a key part of the technical team, to support and oversee QC and technical functions.
- Help build specify and run a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory.
- Utilise GC-MS and other analytical data, to identify and quantify containments, and determine safe levels based on published and generated data, developing methods and training operators.
- Provide technical guidance of process adjustments and improvements.
- Support ground-breaking research into recycled materials in food use applications.
Your Background:
- BSC in Chemistry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of analytical techniques, especially GC-MS, GC-FID, LC-MS.
- Experience of regulatory compliance and standards.
- Experience of laboratory competence procedures and controls.
