Senior Data Engineer (Brussels)

Position: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Contract Type: 12 months contract + Extension

Consol Partner's is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for our client that is in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

• Develop and implement Master Data Management (MDM) and Metadata Management strategies.
• Ensure high-quality, secure data analysis, moving from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics. Oversee the full data life cycle: collection, modelling, visualization, and reporting, while addressing the needs of stakeholders.

Data Engineering:

• Lead the migration of on-premise and future data to the Azure Cloud data platform, utilizing available cloud services and commercial solutions in line with security policies and architecture.
• Design, implement, and manage robust data pipelines (batch and Real Time), ensuring efficient data collection, storage, processing, and integration.
• Provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights through the creation of Visual Tools and dashboards, particularly using Power BI.
• Architect scalable and secure data solutions that support organisational growth and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in building and automating data workflows (batch and Real Time).
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud data platforms and security
• Advanced data collection, processing, and architectural design skills
• Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
