Senior Data Analyst

Role Summary:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding and interpreting complex datasets, gathering requirements, and supporting the engineering team to deliver impactful solutions. Your work will involve analysing data, creating data maps, testing processes, and visualizing insights using platforms like Power BI. You will also engage with stakeholders to manage scope and ensure successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Requirement Gathering

   • Analyze and interpret data as per business requirements.
   • Gather requirements and map data to support business use cases.

2. Collaboration and Development Support

   • Collaborate with the engineering team to support development activities.
   • Manage scope and change requests effectively to ensure project success.

3. Testing and Visualization

   • Conduct testing and manage test processes to ensure quality standards.
   • Interpret and visualize data using Power BI to provide actionable insights.

4. Issue Investigation

   • Investigate issues in data and code to identify root causes and recommend solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong skills in data analysis and data mapping.
• Experience with testing processes and requirements.
• Ability to interpret and visualize data using Power BI.
• Problem-solving experience with data and code investigations.
• Strong team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with agile delivery models and associated practices:
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Design thinking and clear communication.
  • Business process modelling and requirement workshops.
  • Documenting business cases and managing projects from inception to delivery.
