Senior Cloud Engineer FinOps (m/f/x)

Our FinOps team is responsible for forecasting, observing, and reporting cloud cost development, driving cloud cost optimization initiatives for multiple cloud providers. We're striving to enable our fellow Dynatracers across all levels, roles, and business units to keep track of their cloud costs with various tools and automations.

Your role at Dynatrace

Your job as a Cloud engineer is to implement, automate, and maintain reporting tools and consulting engineers in R&D on their own initiatives to optimize cloud costs.

Your responsibilities

• Create forecasts for cloud services together with engineers
• Consult on basic design choices for cloud services with a focus on cost and efficiency
• Keep track of ongoing cloud cost optimization initiatives
• Analysis of billing data
• Independent design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and automations with the Dynatrace Platform (Dashboards, Notebooks & Workflows) and in our cloud accounts

• Technical knowledge of software and/orproduct development processes and tools, cloud services, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience in at least one programming language ideally, Java, TypeScript or Python and willing to createqueries/ scripts with the Dynatrace Query Language (DQL)
• Basic technical knowledge of at least one of the cloud providers AWS, Azure, orGCP
• Good communication skills and pro-active personality
• Thinking beyond a technical solution - weighing costs vs. benefits
• Understanding in how cloud resources/ costs can affect thebusiness

Compensation and rewards

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €56,000gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer ahigher salaryin line with qualifications and experience.
