Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Senior Data Engineer. The role is permanent position based in Zurich Canton & comes with good home office allowance.

Your role:

• Hold responsibility for designing, building & maintaining the Data Infrastructure.
• Contribute to Solution Architecture build & design.
• Provide valuable expertise to data science team to develop next-generation monitoring algorithms.
• Ensure that data pipelines deliver high-quality data in a robust, economic & scalable way.

Your Skills & Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Cloud Data Engineering, preferably on Azure.
• Strong experience in Big Data Processing frameworks (Apache Spark), CI/CD (GitHub actions) & DevOps
• Skilled & experienced in Python & SQL.
• Any experience in developing IoT Solutions is considered advantageous.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area Computer Science or Similar.
• Motivated, dynamic & innovative.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written). Any German language skills are considered very advantageous.
