Senior C++ Engineer

Senior C++ Developer, Greater Manchester (hybrid), £65,000

A Senior C++ Developer is needed to join a growing (already international) SaaS company based in Greater Manchester (hybrid - 1 day a week on site). In this Senior Development role you will take the lead on development tasks and mentor junior developers to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

As a Senior C++ Developer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, producing technical designs and driving technical improvements to align with our business objectives. Working closely with product and development managers to steer the product roadmap.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent C/C++ (v17) development skills.
• Proficiency in Jenkins or similar build tools.
• Good understanding of API design using SOAP and REST.
• Familiarity with networking concepts.
• Experience across Windows, Linux, and Web Platforms.
• Knowledge of concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant designs.
• Proficiency in Git and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with the Linux operating system.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with Node.js.
• Proficiency in Docker and containers.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
