Job Description

Senior Business Analyst M&A/Service Transition Contract 6 months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst that will work on a number of projects for an initial 6 months with view for longer. Enhancing existing M&A capability and capacity, the role supports one of my clients strategic priorities for growth within the EMEA region. My client is are looking for a Business Analyst to join the M&A team. You will assist in the investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, in order that we successfully transition acquired businesses and applications into my clients business.

The successful candidate will take a wide role in the Integration of acquired businesses to my client's business, for example, system re-brand requirements, data migrations and development of test plans to support the integration process. You will Support (secondary focus) the capture and detail existing Application and Digital estate of an acquisition target, including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with my clients standards. Analyse business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement.Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and develop business cases.Develop strategies and plans to improve business performance, including cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue growth.

Successful candidates will have experience with High-level and detailed requirements definition, comparing the current state with the potential future state (as is vs to be). Includes process modelling and using knowledge of systems to propose new solutions. You will be able to collect, understand and transmit the business requirements for the project, and translate these into functional specifications and detailed test plans. You will work with specialist testers, or in exceptional circumstances, autonomously, to ensure that captured requirements are testable and able to be traced from detailed test cases. You will be able to carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and my clients shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of their business. Knowledge of one of their core business systems (Acturis, Stingray, CDL OpenTWINS, Relay, IBAIBA & Global XBXB) would be advantageous. An understanding of the Insurance business from broking, claims processing and IBAIBA functions would be advantageous. Experience of system decommissions, data migrations and testing would also be useful. Knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies (eg Waterfall/Agile).
