WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTWe will soon be founding an separate company in our Agriculture Solutions division, which would then also employ our employees on a permanent basis. To bridge the gap, you will be employed by BASF SE on a temporary basis with the simultaneous binding promise of permanent employment in the new company.
In our Global Ecotoxicology unit, you join a highly dedicated, international and passionate team and work on diverse aspects of Regulatory Ecotoxicology with focus on aquatic organisms.
- As (Senior) Regulatory Scientist, you develop, communicate and implement scientific strategies and defend these in front of internal and external stakeholders.
- Furthermore, you plan, conduct as well as timely deliver all agreed studies, lab activities and/or other regulatory activities according to the compliance, safety and financial requirements.
- Additionally, you are accountable for the coordination of all global, regional as well as national technical/scientific issues in a respective technical center including all relevant necessary project work and interaction.
- You guarantee the strategic and efficient use of external suppliers and develop and implement new ideas, concepts and approaches.
- completed Master's degree in biology (zoology, ecotoxicology, ecology or related field), preferably with PhD
- experience in ecology, ecotoxicology or environmental science preferably with knowledge on aquatic invertebrate species
- expertise in a specific area of ecotoxicology or risk assessment is beneficial
- professional experience and expertise in project management
- excellent communication skills in English
