We are working alongside a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with diverse learning needs. The school is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and supporting their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with other staff and external professionals.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in SEND education.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student learning and development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of SEND best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
