Job Description

SEN Teacher- SEN School - Ealing - ASAP Start


Role: SEN Teacher
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Secondary SEN School, Ealing
Start Date: September 2024 / January 2025
Salary: M1-UPS3 (£36,745-£56,959) + SEN Allowance (£2,539-£5,009)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team as soon as possible.
This full-time, permanent position involves teaching students between the ages of 11-19 with a range of complex disabilities, including profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe learning disabilities, and autism.
We would welcome applications from ECT's, however previous experience of supporting children with additional needs is essential to be considered for this role.


SEN Teacher - Requirements:
A joyful, playful, and non-punitive approach to teaching and behaviour support.
Experience with students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience in managing and directing Teaching Assistants.
Creative lesson planning and delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
Commitment to the school's ethos and mission.
Willingness to develop professionally and contribute to all school aspects.
