Security Ops (GCP)

Global -GDC Security Operations- Freelance contract in Munich*

One of our Customers at RED is in search of an experienced GDC Security Operations course for a project in Munich.

Role: Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Security Operations (SecOps)

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension, after initial contract)
• Contract: Freelance (no permanent/no Visa/No sponsorship can be offered)
• Workload: Full Time (5 Days Per Week)
• Location: Munich, Germany
• Language: English (Written and Spoken)
• German (Advantage)

Education and Knowledge Requirements

SecOps includes the following features:

• Logging: Correlates GDC platform logging for security analysis and response
• Vulnerability identification: Promptly identifies, reports, and tracks security vulnerabilities
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR): Defends all OIC and GDC assets
• Continuous monitoring: Provides tooling, processes, and runbooks to enable continuous monitoring for cybersecurity incidents

GDC also has a number of other security features, including:

• Zero Trust: A multi-layered defense-in-depth architecture that includes multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and continuous authentication
• Device security: Includes hardware qualifications, rogue asset detection, and endpoint protection
• Data encryption: Uses encryption in transit to make data unreadable while in transit
• Network security: Uses a boundary Proxy and bastion host to audit and control traffic
