Security Architect

Security Architect (SC cleared) - £700 per day via Umbrella - 12 months - Birmingham - (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect with a strong focus on AWS Cloud migration. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud-based security and experience with modern technologies.

Your responsibilities as the Security Architect:

• Design and create robust security architectures for systems and services, with a focus on AWS Cloud.
• Maintain and update security documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Develop and apply security architecture patterns that align with modern technologies.
• Recommend security controls that support business objectives and assess risks associated with new initiatives.
• Provide expert security advice across teams and stakeholders, influencing decision-making and fostering collaboration.
• Advise on the latest security-related technologies and their impact on cloud environments.
• Review and assess the work of others, ensuring security standards are met.

As a successful Security Architect, you will have:

• SC and NPPV3 clearance.
• Proven experience as a Security Architect with a specialization in AWS Cloud migration.
• Strong understanding of modern security principles, especially for cloud-based systems.
• Ability to recommend security controls and solutions that align with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
• Experience assessing security risks and advising on the impact of technology changes.
