The Role:
As a Secondary Food Technology Teacher, you will:
• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5.
• Create and maintain an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop, plan, and assess engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of the department.
• Participate in extracurricular activities to further enhance the student experience.
• Support the personal and academic development of students through effective pastoral care.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Secondary Food Technology Teacher who:
• Has a relevant teaching qualification (QTS) and a degree in Food Technology, Design and Technology, or a related field.
• Has experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Is passionate about food education and inspiring young people to develop their skills.
• Can effectively differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Is a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Is proactive, innovative, and keen to develop professionally.
