Science teacher job in Bridgend. Full time, long-term opportunity.

Your new schoolHays are working with a secondary school in Bridgend with over 800 pupils to find a Science teacher. The school encourage the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.
Your new roleStarting in September, you will be a key part of the dedicated Science department including full teaching responsibilities such as:

Teach KS3 - KS4

Nurture a range of learning abilities

staff meetings

parent's evenings,

pastoral responsibilities,

planning and preparation of lessons

marking and assessment.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Science experience

Experience of teaching science in a secondary school

Proven track record of helping students

Strong classroom management skills

Registered with the Education Workforce Council

Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one
