Location: Avonside School, Brislington, Bristol BS4 5PS
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We are recruiting for an experienced School Administrator to join our new Acorn School - Avonside School located in Brislington, Bristol.

About the role
As a School Administrator, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the school office, providing support in a number of areas ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school reception.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Complete front desk reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering calls
- Liaising and reporting to the office manager and the headteacher in some instances
- Access and manage student records using the in house system
- Assist with attendance records and maintaining accurate pupil data
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events
- Support with administrative needs of school staff, such as photocopying, filing, data entry and all other correspondence
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a School Administrator or within a similar environment is essential
- Willingness to adapt and learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work alone but also as part of a fast paced team
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Our New Acorn School - Avonside School in Bristol will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open August 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.
