School Administrator - Greenwich

Position Overview:

This school is seeking a dedicated and dynamic School Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth functioning of the school's administrative operations, ensuring a seamless experience for students, parents, and staff. You will provide high-level administrative support, manage communication channels, and help maintain their welcoming and professional school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive and accurate student records, attendance, and other sensitive information in accordance with school and legal standards.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all inquiries from parents, students, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and assistance.
  • Coordinate and organize school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
  • Prepare and disseminate school communications, including newsletters, event notifications, and official announcements.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of office and educational supplies, maintaining a well-organized and fully stocked office environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of School and senior leadership team, including drafting correspondence, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism, directing inquiries appropriately or responding independently where suitable.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant independent school regulations, policies, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a school administrator would be ideal.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with school management software such as SIMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
