SC Solutions Architect (Defence)

We are looking for a SC Solutions Architect (Defence) for a 12 Months contract based in Bristol (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Purpose of the Role:

As SC Solutions Architect (Defence) you will join the Group IT. You will work collaboratively with the Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to help define the requirements, that enable IT solutions to be developed.

As a SC Solutions Architect (Defence) you will be responsible for:

• Interpret business requirements to enable the design of integrated solutions in accordance with the RR roadmap.
• Lead the design of architecture within the New Demand Team for integrated solutions in line with appropriate standards.
• Provide leadership and direction on technical aspects of systems development and integration in line with technical strategies, standards etc.
• Help to present the architectural IT solution back to Business

What we require from the candidate:

• Extended IT Architecture experience.
• An understanding of the MOD Secure by Design approach would be beneficial.
• Experience working in Defence projects.
• Experience of leading and working in a global business environment and managing distributed teams.
• Demonstrable technical leadership of complex technical and/or professional work activities.
• Active Security Clearance or eligibility.
