About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Project Manager with a strong background in the oil and gas sector to oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing complex SAP projects, understanding industry-specific requirements, and driving business transformation within the oil and gas industry. This is a key role within our growing team, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of SAP projects for oil and gas clients, ensuring timely delivery, within budget and scope.
• Oversee the full project life cycle, from initiation and planning through to execution and closure.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, SAP consultants, technical teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Provide project leadership, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, while actively managing risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, with a strong focus on safety, environmental concerns, and operational efficiency within the oil and gas sector.
• Manage the design, configuration, and customization of SAP modules relevant to the industry (eg, SAP PM, MM, WM, IS-Oil).
• Lead the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions within client organizations.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress and any potential challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 5+ years of experience managing SAP projects, with a minimum of 3 years' experience specifically within the oil and gas industry.
• Solid knowledge of SAP ERP modules, particularly in Oil & Gas, including SAP PM, MM, IS-Oil, and WM.
• Proven track record of delivering successful SAP implementation projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Finnish or other languages is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance environment within the oil and gas industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Project Management certification (eg, PMP, SAP Activate).
• Previous experience working with international teams and managing remote stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Finland's oil and gas industry landscape is a plus.
