Requirements List for the Position of SAP - Basis Administrator

1. General Requirements
   • Responsibility for system operations, error analysis, maintenance, and system updates of customer systems.
   • Execution of standard basis projects, such as release changes for ABAP and Java.
   • Assumption of project management tasks as needed.
2. Technical Skills
   • SAP System Administration:
     • Setup and operation of SAP systems.
     • Performing upgrades, patches, and database upgrades for ABAP and Java systems.
   • Database Knowledge:
     • In-depth knowledge of at least 2 of the common SAP databases (eg, HANA, Oracle, DB2).
     • At least 5 years of experience in the SAP Basis field.
   • Technology Planning:
     • Responsibility for technology planning and HANA migration.
3. Support and Troubleshooting Skills
   • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of troubleshooting and performance services.
   • Conduct performance analyses and derive measures for the continuous adjustment of system requirements.
   • Error analysis and troubleshooting in 1st and 2nd level support.
4. Project Management and Consulting
   • Experience in Service Delivery Management.
   • Ability to independently plan and execute SAP release changes and apply patches.
   • Involvement in sub-projects in the SAP technology environment.
   • Support in presales activities for new customers in the platform services area.
5. Communication Skills
   • Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2).
   • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
6. Additional Requirements
   • Willingness to work occasionally at night or on weekends.
   • Completed university degree in Business Informatics/Computer Science or equivalent qualification, along with several years of relevant professional experience.
   • Experience in collaborating with SAP developers to support application development and testing.
   • Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
7. Documentation and Compliance
   • Creation and maintenance of system documentation.
   • Ensuring compliance with security standards and policies.
   • Actively tracking new technologies and trends in the SAP field.
