Job Description

our client is a rapidly growing, venture-backed generative AI SaaS company that automates the software development life cycle (SDLC). Our mission is to adapt AI to humans, not the other way around.

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Leader to drive our client's sales strategy, expand market reach, and ensure the disruption of traditional software product development processes.

Job Title: Sales Leader
Location: Shoreditch, London

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth:

  • Generate $500k+ in ARR within the first 12 months by acquiring and expanding enterprise customers.

  • Focus on a land-and-expand sales motion to establish our client's footprint in the market.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to secure pilot customers with a two-pronged approach targeting SMEs and enterprises.

  • Achieve at least 5 SME contracts and 2 enterprise accounts within the first 6 months.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the entire organisation to ensure a cohesive market development strategy driven by customer engagement.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Own pipeline forecasting and performance metrics, maintaining a 3x pipeline coverage ratio and consistent deal progression.

Long-Term Responsibilities:

  • Grow Sales Team: Transition from individual contributor to player-coach by recruiting, mentoring, and leading a high-performing sales team.

  • Market Expansion: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate new industries and geographies while expanding existing accounts.

  • Sales Process Optimisation: Continuously refine sales processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Implement best practices and leverage sales technologies.

  • Investor Relations: Collaborate with executive leadership to present sales performance and growth strategies to investors, supporting fundraising efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within B2B SaaS.

  • Proven track record of generating $1M+ ARR in startup or early-stage environments.

  • Experience selling highly technical solutions, ideally AI or SDLC tools, to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or other technical stakeholders.

  • Established network within U.S. enterprise or mid-market companies.

  • Strong understanding of sales enablement tools and proficiency in data analysis and sales forecasting.

  • Experience building sales organisations from scratch, including hiring and mentoring top-performing sales teams.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to commute daily to the Shoreditch office.
