S4 Data Design Lead - Record-to-Report - £650p/d (Outside of IR35) - Luton

UK-leading pharmaceutical client now requires an experienced S4 Data Design Lead - Record-to-Report (R2R) to lead the design and governance of enterprise data standards as part of a global SAP S/4HANA implementation.

This role ensures that data requirements align with business needs and supports seamless process execution and analytics.

Rate: £650p/d (Outside of IR35)

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Luton (3 Days per Week)

Responsibilities

• Define and document enterprise data standards for Treasury, Account to Report, and Enterprise Structure processes.
• Lead data readiness, harmonization, and quality during SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Collaborate with global teams to align data strategies with business goals and analytics requirements.
• Implement data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Support the design of a future-state data competency center.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with extensive R2R process experience.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation and SAP architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, quality management, and enterprise data standards.
• Experience with Treasury, Account to Report, and Enterprise Structure processes.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in global environments.

Preferred

• Experience in global data migration strategies and governance frameworks.
• Background in life sciences or healthcare industries.
