Risk Manager

What you will be doing:

• Support the Senior Risk Manager in functional engagement (internal and external) from a Line 2 risk
  perspective to ensure the risk management policy is properly Embedded and reported.
• Oversee the entire data risk function, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to data governance.
• Ensure risk appetite and tolerance are appropriately monitored and acted upon (both Diligenta risk appetite and within the client arrangements).
• Review and challenge the effectiveness of governance mechanisms deployed by the relevant functions
• implementing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures. Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security across business processes while supporting the organization's data strategy and risk appetite
• Sharing relevant risk insights via client-based reporting teams and vice versa.
• Evidence to demonstrate the effective implementation, maintenance and delivery of the Diligenta Risk Management Framework (such as evidencing clear accountability for risk management, confirmation as to the level of compliance to the risk management framework, examples of support provided in risk identification and escalation etc.
• Facilitation and challenge to the business to help understand, manage and report risks and controls

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Experience with data governance and frameworks
• Conversant with best practice enterprise risk management processes and frameworks
• An organised self-starter with strong report-writing skills
• Previous experience leading teams and providing guidance to Risk Consultants
• Strong technical knowledge of risk management software tools and their use
• Experience with stakeholder management & communication
