Job Description
CAD / Revit Technician - Belfast Landscape Studio - £26-32k + Package (DoE)

Your new company
HAYS Architecture & Design NI are excited to be working exclusively with a renowned Landscape Architecture specialist, in their search for a CAD / Revit Technician to join their Belfast Studio. It's an exciting time in their evolution as a business, having gathered an enviable reputation for expertise over 20 years, and with offices in Dublin, London and Belfast - their workload pipeline is robust and growing. As such, they are welcoming applications from technicians with a firm grasp on the latest building / construction software to help them thrive and deliver, and underpin their established team of Landscape Architects. With a predominantly public-sector project base, they offer security, progression and stability. This should appeal to those who feel stifled or underutilised in their current Construction / Architectural position, whilst at the same time offering an engaging and compelling direction in which to build their career.
Your new role
As the CAD / Revit specialist in the office, you will help with the establishment & development of BIM protocols and processes, and use your expertise to support Landscape Architects in transferring their concepts to technical details, visualisations & Revit Models, ensuring compliance with building regulations, integration with broader project teams and ensuring continual improvement of workstreams / best practice are both implemented and evolved.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have proficiency in both AutoCAD & Revit Software, with at least 1 year's practical experience working in a Design Studio / similar field (ideally you will have 3+ year's PQE - but applications are welcome at all levels). You will also be competent in using MS Office Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign - or have some awareness and be open to learning. Civil Design experience would be advantageous but isn't essential, and you should possess a Full UK driving licence, with the ability to commute to the Studio's Belfast-based office.
What you'll get in return
A full-time position with an established consultancy, with compelling projects and an ever-growing workload. They have an attractive office space in a vibrant part of Belfast, and as well as a competitive salary - for the right person, their wider package also includes flexible working hours, WFH policy, staff pension, private medical insurance and discounted gym membership & wellbeing app membership. This could be the position that you've been waiting for, and with interest expected to be high - apply early to avoid disappointment.
