About the role

The Resourcing Analyst will join a growing resource management team that supports Operate, PwC's execution and managed services business across the UK. They will perform a critical role, supporting the Operate Resource Management Team to provide insight to our stakeholders through undertaking the resourcing data management for the team. This includes updating our resourcing systems in a timely manner, producing reports which provide insight to our stakeholders and working as part of a specialist hub to ensure consistent processes are followed across the wider Operate Resource Management team.

In a fast paced, dynamic environment, this role will provide you with opportunity to finesse your organisation and coordination skills, through a mix of on the job learning and specific training.

What your days will look like:
  • Ensuring that changes to staff schedules are actioned promptly, using our workforce planning system (Staffing & Deployment), including the review and update of uploaded staffing plans (budgets), proposed work and maintaining key systems.
  • Using existing and emerging technologies to process a range of RM related data to ensure that critical business activities are cascaded and/or completed in a timely manner. Including performing regular data integrity checks/data cleansing in our workforce planning system to produce sustainable, high-quality information.
  • Visualising the data to convey complex data sets into meaningful, regular, standardised Management Information (MI) reporting to provide insight and trends to the Resource Management team helping to drive business growth.
  • Provide responsive and professional data management support to the PwC Resource Management community across our business and share knowledge and best practice across the team.


This role is for you if:
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple workstreams.
  • Knowledge of Google suite applications or MS Office, particularly Google sheets/MS Excel.
  • Planning / Scheduling skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving with an ability to develop solutions to technical problems.
  • Maintain high attention to detail, especially when processing high volumes of work and actively manage expectations and escalate where necessary.
  • Resilient and proactive with a positive, agile attitude towards changing demands and peaks/troughs in workload.
