Position Overview
The Remote Key Account Manager will be responsible for the activity and performance of remote sales territories (made up of existing local sales territories) in conjunction with the existing network of field based sales employees.
The holder of this role will be expected to develop local accounts (with a focus on tier B, C, D accounts) and achieve above expected sales growth. It is essential that he/she can use selling skills with healthcare practitioners (including but are not limited to; Surgeons, Oncologists and Pathologists), and is able to uncover customers' needs and move them along the adoption pathway in terms of how they think, feel, and then act in relation to Exact Sciences products.
As part of wider account management and stakeholder engagement, the holder of this role will also be expected to build relationships with non-clinical customers to demonstrate the value that Exact Sciences products can deliver to the National Health System (purchasers, hospital Administration).
Whilst part of the local, this is a mostly autonomous role, so the holder will need to be able to work on their own and prioritize where they are going to spend their time to gain maximum return for their efforts.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Commercial Activities
- Meet all agreed commercial objectives as developed with the country manager.
- Work closely with the Customer Service team and the local Finance and Marketing teams on specific projects at the direction of the country manager.
- Provide logistical support to all key personnel within the designated health care centers to ensure the effective and efficient ordering of Exact Sciences products.
- Clearly differentiate Exact Sciences products from competitors and put in place effective account strategies to ensure that account decision making units understand what value our products provide beyond testing breast cancer patients.
- Technical Fluency
- Successfully complete all training programs and deal proficiently with the concepts and complexities associated with genomic testing and with all Exact Sciences products.
- Invest the time necessary to maintain an in-depth understanding of all disease states associated with our products and diagnostic solutions.
- Utilize their technical fluency to move target physicians and influencers to actions that will result in patient access and utilization of our products.
- Professionalism and Commitment
- Ensure excellence in all aspects of performance, continuous self-evaluation, and development.
- Contribute to business development initiatives that support the organization, peers, and customers beyond sales/revenue production.
- Attend various customer and team sales meetings and professional conferences.
- Communication - External/Internal
- Provide information critical to accomplishing the Exact Sciences mission to "all" parties involved in the sales of our products.
- Provide direct feedback to individuals so they can make accurate decisions at all levels of the company (national, regional & area teams).
- Other Responsibilities
- Willingness and ability to travel and stay overnight within Europe whenever necessary (for conferences, customer, and country meetings) upon manager's request.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Near-native oral and written fluency in French language (C1 or above per CEFR framework).
- Reasonable fluency in the English language (B1 or above per CEFR framework).
- 2+ years of sales experience (can be in a non-medical sector) with practice in remotely managing a large territory through digital channels (phone, email, video conferencing etc.)
- 2+ years of experience of working with multiple stakeholders and decision makers in fast-paced environments (preferably in the medical diagnostics, biomedical or pharmaceutical sectors)
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn the principles of clinical research and diagnostics in cancer.
- Self-starter and experience of working in smaller organizations or teams- autonomous, entrepreneurial in thinking and approach.
- Authorization to work in Poland without visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in molecular biology, genomics, translational science, and/or personalized medicine.
- Superior technical communication skills with strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
- Sales experience in premium products with a record of success promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics (ideally in breast cancer).
- Experience in market access, marketing, leadership, training, or another non-sales discipline.
