Company Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Red Team Technical Lead to join our client in the IT Consulting industry. This role requires a blend of offensive security expertise, strategic leadership, and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will lead complex red team engagements, emulating real-world threats to help enhance customer security.

You will be part of a dynamic, innovative team that values career development, inclusivity, and collaboration.

This role offers the chance to work remotely with occasional travel to client locations across the UK, and potential international travel opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven leadership in red teaming or offensive security.
• Strong experience in exploiting enterprise environments, including cloud platforms, Active Directory, and EDR evasion.
• Expertise in penetration testing, adversary simulation, and security control validation.
• Proficiency in custom tooling, exploit development, and automation.
• Strong OPSEC mindset and experience running covert operations.
• Ability to communicate technical risks to security teams and executives.
• Willingness to undergo UK government clearance (SC minimum).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of red and purple team engagements to assess and enhance enterprise security posture.
• Develop advanced attack techniques and tactics, staying ahead of emerging threats.
• Mentor and guide red team operators, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive actionable security improvements.
• Communicate complex findings to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with red teaming frameworks like CBEST, TIBER-EU, etc.
• Relevant certifications (eg, OSEP, OSCE, CRTO).
• Experience mentoring junior consultants.
