Job Title: RAN Network Design Specialist

Location: Bristol OR Birmingham (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Rate: Competitive

Contract Length: 6 months, starting 6th January 2024

About the Role: We are working with a well-known client in the telecommunications industry who is seeking a RAN Network Design Specialist. This role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions across various radio technologies, including 2G, 4G, and 5G, within an agile and dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for hardware, software, and radio feature design, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Top Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mobile Radio Access Network (RAN) Design, planning, or delivery.
• Proficient knowledge of Ericsson and Nokia RAN products and features.
• Technical expertise in analysing network data, drive test logs, and protocol analyzers (eg, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Accuver or equivalent.
• Ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations and optimize long-standing processes.
• BPSS Security Clearance.
