Your new role
In your new role as an R&D Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technological advancement, carrying out performance testing on new and existing products, and playing a pivotal role in the progression and completion of both internal and external research and development projects. You will be instrumental in developing handover procedures for innovative products transitioning into production, as well as revising and improving standard operating procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, coupled with at least one year of experience in product development, R&D, or a related field, which may include university placement experience. Your proven track record in managing projects from concept to production, identifying key gate stages, and translating design concepts into potential products will set you apart. Collaborative skills are essential, as you will work closely with teams to develop new products and revise existing ones. Your strong analytical and mathematical skills, along with proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, will be the foundation of your success.
