About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves working on Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing stock and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in social housing, housing maintenance, or housing facilities, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining excellent standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee MOD housing stock and maintenance projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money.
- Prepare and manage contracts, including variations and final accounts.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
- Proven experience in social housing, housing maintenance, or housing facilities.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices and principles.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
