Come and join our Transportation team in Easton Lane, Winchester, as a Quantity Surveyor! In this role, you'll be an integral part of our commercial team, supporting National Highways Maintenance and Response Contracts

Location: Easton Lane, Winchester - travel to the office required with some remote working available
Hours: Permanent Fulltime some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per year + £4,000 annual car allowance + benefits
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the commercial management of various aspects of the contract - from emergency repairs and incident response to routine maintenance and minor improvement schemes.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of applications for payment, claims, budget monitoring
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management
- Effectively manage supply chain, raising orders, assessing applications and variations, and agreeing final accounts
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great if you:
- Holds the relevant qualification
- Experience within a similar role in the Highways/Infrastructure Industry
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbally
