Quantity Surveyor needed for a temporary position

Hays are seeking an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor for a temporary position to join a team based in Plymouth. The work would be for between 10-12 weeks with the possibility of an extension.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and shop fit projects, with a proven track record of managing costs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports.

What's needed from you?

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Proven experience as a quantity surveyor

Ability to pick things up quickly
