  • Your New Role
I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and contractual support across various projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, programme managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our Capital Works Investment programme and Regeneration projects.You will need effective communication with customers, private occupants, and leaseholders is essential, ensuring all complaints and queries are handled in accordance with company policy. You will provide relevant data and information as required, work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders both internally and externally, and always adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • What You Will Need to Be Successful
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant HND / HNC construction qualification and relevant experience in quantity surveying. You should have knowledge of appropriate industry legislation including Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations, HHSRS, FFHH, etc. Additionally, you should have SMSTS or the equivalent.You must possess excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and using complex databases, and generally have working knowledge of MS Office applications. You should be able to produce and analyse reports so that the appropriate information is clearly presented. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills with the ability to deal effectively with queries and complaints, are essential. You should also have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to work effectively within a team and liaise appropriately with all relevant stakeholders is crucial. A full driving licence with access to a vehicle with business insurance is also required.
