emagine is seeking talented freelance Quality Engineering Consultants with expertise in Quality Engineering, particularly in leveraging Gen AI technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for software testing, ensuring that deliverables meet both functional and compliance requirements. You will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency of security penetration testing through innovative workflows and knowledge management.

The main responsibility of this role is to deliver comprehensive testing solutions that meet complex business needs.

• Develop detailed and structured test cases based on defined requirements.

• Lead test planning initiatives and refine acceptance criteria within agile frameworks.

• Identify in-scope and out-of-scope items for clarity in testing.

• Implement and maintain the test framework for the team.

• Conduct test case reviews and collaborate with stakeholders for test coverage.

• Identify automation opportunities for applicable test types.

• Generate and manage compliant test data across environments.

• Execute both manual and automated test cases while documenting results.

• Report and triage defects with comprehensive context for resolution.

• Create traceability across tests and manage test suites systematically.

Key Requirements:

• Familiarity with testing tools such as qTest, Jira, or similar database viewers.

• Proficient in SQL queries with data manipulation skills.

• Experience designing manual and automated test plans.

• Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices.

• Understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with automation testing tools like Cypress.

• Understanding of JavaScript.
