A wonderful opportunity has become available for a Qualified or experienced Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Grove Mount Dental. We are a well established practice located in Ramsey, Isle of Man, close to the marina. The island offers a relaxed way of life with a very friendly community, we call our practice a "family dental health centre" as we want patients of all ages to enjoy lasting dental health.

Job: Qualified Dental Nurse / Trainee Dental Nurse

Salary: TBC

Hours: Full Time or Part Time

Practice opening hours:

Monday - Thursday 8.30-5.30
Friday 8.30-4.30

Key responsibilities & duties:
Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and hygiene therapists
Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
Checking stock + preparing orders
Carrying out audits
Preparing referrals
Deliver outstanding customer service experiences
Ad hoc reception duties

Academic or trade qualifications:
GDC registered
Trainees with minimum 6 months will be considered
Excellent organisation, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Pearl + Excel desirable but not essential

Work experience and skills:
Having an ambitious, positive and enthusiastic attitude with a great patient focus
Variety of roles available for nursing staff and extended duties are actively encouraged, lots of patient interaction and opportunity to work in a busy active team
Ability to work as part of a team
Proactive approach
Computer savvy and able to multitask
Maintaining patient confidentiality

We provide services which include General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Whitening, Dentures and Hygiene therapists with 5 surgeries in total.
