  • Location: Ellesmere Port (but UK travel to sites)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Working hours: This position operates Monday through Friday, five days a week, with one day working from home
  • Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 DOE

  • Up to 10% Bonus - subject to eligibility criteria

Job Description

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced QHSSE Business Partner to become part of our UK Quality Health Safety and Environemtn team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Quality and Safety and while a background in Science, Engineering and Manufacturing is not essential, it would be highly advantageous.

  • Review, develop and implement QHSSE standards, policies and systems within UK operations
  • Working in partnership with Business Partners and managers
  • Maintain and deliver the internal QHSSE audit programmes
  • Complete inspections and audits and maintenance of the internal QHSSE audit programmes to deliver compliance
  • Working on a number of significant diverse and wide ranging projects
  • Delivering consistent and effective internal audit processes
  • Frequent UK travel

Qualifications

  • Relevant HSE professional qualification e.g. NEEBOSH Certificate, British Safety Council Diploma in Safety Management, NVQ4 in Occupational Safety & Health Management or equivalent
  • Relevant Quality professional qualification e.g. Diploma in Quality Management or equivalent
  • Relevant Lead Auditor qualification - 9001 / 45000 / 17025
  • Full UK Driving License

Experience Required

  • Operating within a multi-disciplined and diverse service organization
  • Significant practical experience in developing and auditing QHSSE management systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant QHSSE standards (ISO 9001, 17025, 17065, 17020, 14001, 45001)
