My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit a Python Pytorch GCP Optimisation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE. A specialised research Data Platform represents a major investment by our clients Digital & Tech team, designed to deliver a step-change in ability to leverage data, knowledge, and prediction to find new medicines. This is a full-stack shop consisting of product and portfolio leadership, data engineering, infrastructure and DevOps, data/metadata/knowledge platforms, and AI/ML and analysis platforms.
Key skills and experience for the Python Pytorch GCP Optimisation Engineer:
- Optimize reproducibility and performance of large-scale data and machine learning workloads for critical AI/ML projects
- Rapidly prototype solutions and refine towards platforming and production
- Supports optimizations and application integration with programme Platform
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
- Knowledge of distributed application architecture, design, implementation and performance tuning
- Cloud experience (Google Cloud & Azure) with networking, storage, containers, and serverless
- Experience running compute workloads on HPC and/or specialized compute, storage, and networking appliances
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- GKE experience a plus
