Job Description
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychologist to join a Children's Hospice in Leicestershire.

The role will involve supporting hospital and community services across the East Midlands.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT and helping to mould the role within this brand new post.

You will hold clinical responsibilities such as:
Completing specialist psychological assessments of children, young people and families.
Supporting the Leadership Team with developing and implementing new Wellbeing initiatives across the service to improve aspects of clinical service.
Delivering evidence based psychological interventions
Monitoring clinical effectiveness and outcomes and make adaptations based on feedback.

Contract type - permanent, part-time

Hours - 22.5 hours per week

Salary - £50,952 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Psychologist along with experience working with children and young people presenting with complex needs. Previous work in palliative care is desirable however not essential.
